Collage

Introduction

Dyed or faded papers, wrapping paper or bright tissue make colourful and interesting collage.

Also make collage from found and collected materials and objects. Choose stuff for it's colour, shape, or texture. Photographs, old newsprint, bits of fabric, old postcards, toffee papers, lace and ribbons are all suitable.

Gluing more than one layer of previously painted images or plain paper, to a surface, then tearing into and re−sticking the torn pieces may suggest interesting shapes for trees, clouds and further ideas for landscapes.

Have fun!
